Web comic

Yesterday I mentioned a half drafted comic that I have planned. Today I though I'd share some more ideas on that front.
The comic is called. Do Over. When I started reading webcomics it seemed that most of them were geared for folks younger than me. People just leaving college, just starting adulthood about mid 20's or younger. I wanted to see a comic that was aimed at people in the been there done that point of their lives. People like me. And so I came up with Do Over. It's is a roughly autobiographical work. Some of the events actually happened but in many cases characters are melds of people I've known. Time, place and circumstances are also changed up as well.
Here is the synopsis I have written in my notes.

"Burdened by debt and a looming divorce, Munroe, a newly separated man, begins rebuilding his life by moving in with the only single man he knows that has room for him, a loser who never moved out of the house.
Munroe finds a mutual attraction with a woman he works with but she is involved with someone else and though an offer of an affair seems to be there he wants the romantic type relationship he feels he missed out on in his marriage. Never the less their attraction causes them to remain close.

Meanwhile, his loser friend and now roommate’s laziness, combined with his dependencies and get rich quick ideas, threaten the stability that he is trying to achieve.
Munroe meets someone online who seems perfect, a woman with his same likes and interests the only problem is that she lives far away never the less he begins a long distance relationship and begins making plans to move her where he is.

With this as an impetus Munroe manages to move away from his friends place in the nick of time, but the long distance woman refuses to move and breaks up with him. His heart breaking he finds comfort in the arms of the woman he works with."

This is what I have planned for the first year or so. There are a few backup characters as well. They act mainly as a sounding board for Munro's thoughts.

Later on I'll flesh Munroe out a little more for you guys. In case you're wondering Munroe is named after Randall Munroe who does the comic XKCD.
